Aruba is poised to complete a phenomenal year of tourism. What's even more
exciting is the promising outlook for an electrifying 2005. With the
island's growth in tourism come even more entertainment additions.
Headlining is the debut of
The Links at Divi Aruba, a nine-hole golf course that is not only changing
the scenery along the main boulevard, but partnered with Tierra del Sol
Resort & Country Club, will help propel the island into "golf destination"
status.
And speaking of status,
Aruba is close to cementing its reputation as the Las Vegas of the
Caribbean thanks to the ultimatebet.com mega poker tournament held here in
September. Hundred's of the world's top poker player made their way to
Aruba for eleven days of play - with Ben Affleck joining in on the
activities - and the Travel Channel televising the final championship
game.
A new international
Release from one of the island's talented musical groups, up and coming
sports like beach tennis, and another fantastic Carnaval season are all
reasons to celebrate all that is new on the island.
In this edition, the
crew of Island Temptations is thrilled to bring you a taste of all the
fun!
